Friday (Dec. 2):

Candlelight Christmas Walk @ Mount Pleasant Estates
Enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride and freshly roasted chestnuts, hop aboard the antique trolley for Christmas shopping, and partake of a dinner buffet with award-winning wine over live music during this holiday event. Buffet is $15 for adults and $7 for children 12 and under. 5-10p.m.

Christmas Tree Walk @ Downtown Maplewood
Maplewood's tree gets lit -- literally, we mean -- and a celebration commences with a visit from Santa, free hot chocolate and roasted chestnuts. Free. 6 p.m.

Eliot Chapel Madrigal Dinner Theatre @ Eliot Unitarian Chapel
Enjoy a royal feast with live entertainment from the St. Louis Recorder Society, The Not Ready for Reformation Players and the Greenleaf Singers in concert. The meal consists of apricot chicken, rice and veggies, cider and wine, and more. Friday, Dec. 2 and Saturday, Dec. 3 from 6:30-10:30 p.m. Tickets range from $25-55. Saturday (Dec. 3):

Clayton Winter Farmer's Market and Bazaar @ Center of Clayton
Shop winter and greenhouse farm fresh products, locally grown hand-crafted artisan foods and various health and home goods during this indoor market. Free admission. 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Feast Your Eyes @ Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis
This installment of the monthly tasting series features chefs Dave Owens and Margaret Kelly of Bissinger's preparing art-inspired food samples preceding an exhibition tour with complimentary drink samples from Chandler Hill Vineyard and Pearl Vodka. Free. 12:30-1:30 p.m.

Gingerbread Class @ Whole Foods - Galleria
Whole Foods provides a frosted gingerbread house and candy to assemble along with some holiday beverages and treats. $19.99 per house. Register at the customer service desk. 11 a.m-noon and 1-2 p.m.

Bye Bye Liver @ Maggie O'Brien's
Enjoy this set of drinking sketches over $6 Bud Light pitchers and $4 house drink specials. Tickets are $14. 8 p.m.

Sunday (Dec. 4):

Kristkindl Market @ Stone Hill Winery
This traditional German Christmas market offers crafts, food, drinks and entertainment. Free admission. Saturday, Dec. 4 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 5 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

28th Annual Cookie Spree @ Cherokee Antique Row
Local merchants on Cherokee Street from Jefferson Boulevard east to Lemp Avenue offer free holiday cookies, music and other seasonal festivities. Saturday, Dec. 3 and Sunday, Dec. 4 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Breakfast with Santa @ The Magic House
This annual event features a pancake breakfast, a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, holiday crafts and admission to the Magic House. $18 per person. 5 p.m.
