OpenTable Honors Niche, Tony's

​OpenTable, the restaurant-reservation website, has announced the winners of its annual "Diners' Choice" awards, and two St. Louis restaurants are among the 100 "Best Overall Winners": Niche (1831 Sidney Street; 314-773-7755) and Tony's  (410 Market Street; 314-231-7007).

OpenTable users vote for these awards, which cover 34 states and Washington, D.C. The list includes both acclaimed restaurants like the French Laundry and Eleven Madison Park and higher-end chains like the Melting Pot and Ruth's Chris Steak House. So, you know, grain of salt and all that.

By the way, if you tire of Gut Check's mentions of Niche, Gerard Craft, et. al., then absolutely do not visit this site.
