Catching up on a couple of items from the past week or so:
- We told you two weeks ago that paper had gone up in the windows of the former Flavors BBQ Sports Bar & Grill at 4317 Manchester Avenue in Forest Park Southeast's Grove district. Sauce reports that this will be a Middle-Eastern restaurant called Leila.
- The Carondelet Diner opened last month at 321 East Davis Street. The owners previously operated the Riverside Cafe, which closed a year ago due to a family health emergency. For more information, visit the restaurant's Facebook page or call 314-875-9994. (h/t: Relish)
