Kelly English Offers Free Steak to Leap Day Babies
Well, now, this is one helluva deal. Too bad you need to be a quirk of our crazy calendar -- thanks a lot, Pope Gregory XIII -- to enjoy it.

On Wednesday, February 29, Kelly English Steakhouse (777 Casino Center Drive, Maryland Heights; 314-770-8100), the new restaurant at Harrah's from Memphis-based chef Kelly English, will give anyone born on Leap Day a $100 gift certificate toward dinner there. All you have to do is show up and flash your drivers' license.
Unfortunately, Leap Day babies won't be able to escape the curse of their quadrennial birthday completely. The restaurant won't serve alcoholic beverages to anyone under the age of 84.
