• St. James the Greater! Raised in Dogtown, my hometown grade school serves up delicious meals throughout the year but the Fish Fry is always the best! 

• Epiphany of Our Lord - 63139.  Cod, Jack Salmon, Catfish, Mac n Cheese, Green Beans, Corn, Slaw, Fruit Salad and homemade desserts.

• Hands down - St. Cecilia's Amazing mexican dishes including Chile Rellenos! Seriously, they have Chile Rellenos... Plus fish and shrimp tacos, chips and salsa, in addition to typical fish fry treats. Expect a wait if your not an early bird, but it's worth it when you step in to the lively atmosphere of a band, dancers and festive decor - all taking place in the open gym. You will most likely be waiting in line, but don't you worry - there are roving Corona/Budweiser carts, chips and salsa and even free fried shrimp samples if your lucky. Go early, for the Rellenos doesn't always make it to the end of the line.

• St. Peter's Church in the City of St. Charles has a great fish fry. Catfish & Cod dinners, Peel and Eat Shrimp platters, Great sides - hushpuppies, coleslaw, frog legs, corn bread etc. There is a reason you have to get there early and the line goes out the door. Of course theres buckets to buy and soft serve ice cream for dessert.

• Epiphany of our Lord-  Great fish, shrimp, pasta, beer and people.
