Who Wants to Win $80 to Sundecker's...Tonight Only [Updated with winner]!
We dare you to eat $80 worth of Sundecker's food tonight.
Sometimes Gut Check is swamped with so many gift certificates to St. Louis eateries that one or two slip through the cracks, and, oops, expire. Today, $80 in gift certificates to Sundecker's St. Louis (900 North First Street, 314-241-5915) was found in the depths of the Gut Check gift certificate bin, labeled with a menacing March 1, 2012 expiration date.
To enter to win this almost-expired swag, tell us in the comments section below: If you could only buy one item from Sundecker's menu with the $80 (booze not included), what would it be? Gut Check will determine a winner by 3:30 p.m. today, and the gift certificates will be left for the winner at the RFT offices. The only caveats are that the winner must pick up their prize by 5 p.m. at RFT Headquarters, and, to reap the benefits of the nearly-forgotten gift certificates, must venture to Sundecker's before its kitchen closes tonight at 10 p.m.
Also, Gut Check swears we didn't plan this after seeing last week's episode of 30 Rock -- or did we? Happy Leap Day!
Update: Congrats to commenter Chris A., whose comment "I don't know if $80 can pull off a true Tracy Jordan Leap Day Miracle, but I think I'd have to go with the Wednesday special 'chicken cordon blue,'" took first prize.
