Al Waha Restaurant & Hookah Lounge (3191 South Grand Boulevard; 314-664-3940), one of the very, very few restaurants nationwide to feature Bedouin cuisine, has closed. The signage has been removed from its storefront, and while tables and chairs remain inside restaurant, most everything else appears to have been cleared out. The phone is still connected, but the voice mailbox is full; the website is down.

According to a post on this Yelp message-board thread, the restaurant closed a couple of weeks ago. Al Waha opened in March of 2010.
