American Craft Brewing Closed?
Another mystery for your Tuesday afternoon -- though the solution to this one seems far more obvious.
Our friends at STL Hops report that American Craft Brewing & Distilling Co. (1821 Cherokee Street; 314-932-1222), the brewpub and microdistillery formerly known as The Stable before a change in ownership last year (and briefly known as American Standard Craft Brewing & Distilling Co.) appears to have closed.
Calls to the restaurant yesterday and today have gone unanswered. For whatever it's worth, the American Craft sign in the picture illustrating this post is no longer there. STL Hops reports that the restaurant wasn't open Sunday evening, either -- to the apparent surprise of some employees.
Is American Craft Brewing down for the count? More as we learn it.
