Joe's Chili Bowl Now Open at Citygarden
The Cardinals have returned to Busch Stadium, and a restaurant has returned to Citygarden: Joe's Chili Bowl (808 Chestnut Street; 314-241-7070) is now open in the space previously occupied by the Terrace View.

The new venture from Kim Tucci and Joe Fresta of the Pasta House Co. and Tucci & Fresta's Trattoria & Bar (15 North Central Avenue, Clayton; 314-725-6588) features chili, of course, (regular, chicken and vegetable) as well as salads, burgers, hot dogs and a few Italian dishes.
Joe's Chili Bowl also serves breakfast -- including a slinger, naturally, this being a chili parlor, after all -- from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. and from 9 p.m. till "whenever," to quote the menu, which you can view on its website. The restaurant is open from 6:30 a.m. to "late night" daily.
