Tidbits from Snarf's, Farmhaus
- Snarf's (6301 Delmar Boulevard, University City; 314-725-4800) is the latest restaurant to sign on to the new Mercantile Exchange project downtown. St. Louis Magazine broke the news last week that Snarf's will join the roster that currently also includes Robust (227 West Lockwood Avenue, Webster Groves; 314-964-0033), a new restaurant from the folks behind Tani Sushi Bistro (16 South Bemiston Avenue, Clayton; 314-727-8264) and the latest addition to the Pi Pizzeria empire.
Jennifer Silverberg St. Louis will soon be home to multiple Snarf's (or is that Snarves?).
The addition of a second area location for the Boulder, Colorado-based Snarf's raises a pressing question: Is the plural of Snarf Snarfs or Snarves? Discuss in the comments.
- Farmhaus (3257 Ivanhoe Avenue; 314-647-3800) is closed today through this Thursday, April 26, for its annual staff fishing trip. That means no "Blue Plate" lunch service today through Thursday, and no dinner service Wednesday or Thursday. It also means you should order the seafood special when the restaurant reopens on Friday evening.
