Friday (May 11):
Food Truck Friday @ Tower Grove Park
The season's first Food Truck Friday brings the the St. Louis Food Truck Association along with other vendors to Tower Grove Park for plenty of tasty meals on wheels. The list of vendors includes the likes of Seoul Taco, 2 Girls 4 Wheels, Go Gyro Go and many more. Admission is free. 5 to 8 p.m.
Arthritis Foundation Beer and Wine Tasting Event @ Logan College of Chiropractic
This event to benefit the Arthritis Foundation features tastings from Augusta, Hermanhoff, Montelle, Noboleis and Oak Glen wineries as well as Augusta Brewery. $20 for either beer or wine tasting. The first 200 attendees receive a complimentary commemorative wine glass. Call 314-447-4883 for reservations. 5 to 9 p.m.
Art of the Vine Wine Tasting @ Laumeier Sculpture Park Art Fair
Laumeier Sculpture Park's annual art fair features original pieces from 150 artists from all over the country, food and drink vendors, music and entertainment on Friday, May 11 from 6 to 10 p.m., Saturday, May 12 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, May 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission costs $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 6 to 11. For an additional $12 on Friday night, partake in unlimited samples during "The Art of the Vine" wine tasting featuring area wineries.
Saturday (May 12):
From Seed to Cup: Kaldi's Coffee Class @ Whole Foods Market-Galleria
Learn about the process of growing and harvesting coffee at many levels, followed by a cupping of a variety of coffees. $10 per person. Call 314-968-7744 to reserve a spot. 11 a.m. to noon.
Art St. Louis A Mother Of a Potluck
Art Saint Louis hosts this special potluck to coincide its current exhibit, "Food, Glorious Food." The community dish sharing event and recipe swap also features door prizes by Foodie STL, wine tastings by Stone Hill Winery and a showing of live art. Admission for the event is free. Beerfest 2012 @ The Wine and Cheese Place
Perennial Artisan Ales, 4 Hands Brewing, Schlafly and many other breweries will be on hand to pour more than 130 beers. The Seoul Taco Truck will also be handy for hungry beer lovers. $5 per person. The first 150 people get a commemorative glass. 2 to 4 p.m.
Sunday (May 13):
Mother's Day Brunch @ Bixby's
The buffet-style brunch includes house smoked salmon, sausage, chilled salads, hot entrees, pastries and desserts. The adult meal price is $32, $15 for children ages 4 to 12 and free for children 3 and under. Kegs at the Classic @ Maude's Market
