Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-ins and Dives Filming Guerrilla Street Food RIGHT NOW

Guerrilla Street Food and Guy Fieri's ride parked in the Delmar Loop this morning
Yesterday, we learned that Guy Fieri was shooting a segment for his smash-hit Food Network show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives at Anthonino's Taverna (2225 Macklind Avenue; 314-773-4455)

This morning, driving to Gut Check International Headquarters here in the Delmar Loop, I happened to notice the Guerrilla Street Food (@GuerrillaStreet; 314-529-1328) truck parked at an unlikely spot at an unlikely time: outside the Delmar Restaurant & Lounge (6235 Delmar Boulevard; 314-725-6565).

Parked right behind the Guerrilla Street truck was Fieri's signature vehicle. A film crew swarmed the area.

And there, in the distance, surrounded by assistants and producers, was the spiky-haired one himself.

Here he is downin' a slug of coffee (?) before heading into the Delmar:

Guy filmed at The Shaved Duck yesterday too.  Although we were disappointed when we showed up to find that the restaurant was closed or the night, the owner was a class act and sent us to his other restaurant, the Scottish Arms, with a free round of drinks for our entire party of 12.  It was good but not as good as The Shaved Duck!

That's Jaegermeister. No doubt.
