In a comment on Friday's "Tidbits" post, regular reader JZ71 alerted me to this piece of news: JackSons' (6655 Manchester Avenue; 314-645-4904) has closed "for now," according to a sign posted on its entrance.

The full text of the sign reads as follows:
JackSons' is closed, for now.We hope to have a re-opening soon.
Thanks for all your support and please come back.
A second sign on a side entrance strikes a more hopeful note, claiming the restaurant is closed "just for now" and telling diners to look for a "grand re-opening."
Attempts to reach the owners have yet to be successful, though the restaurant's phone does remain connected. More as we learn it.
