O-K Used Cars Opening Barbecue Joint
Update: (Friday, June 29, 1:53 p.m.) Annabelle's Bar-B-Que was open for business when I happened to drive past O-K Used Cars (6900 Noonan Avenue; 314-781-1144) this afternoon. The brief menu includes a hot dog, hamburger, chicken sandwich, pork-steak sandwich and a half-slab of baby-ribs.

The prices are low. The most expensive item is the half-slab of ribs, at $6, while the burger and sandwiches are $3 each and the hot dog is $1.25.

Regular reader and frequent tipster JZ71 alerted me that O-K Used Cars (6900 Noonan Avenue; 314-781-1144), just off the intersection of McCausland and Manchester avenues, is opening a barbecue joint.
Annabelle's BBQ is a permanent structure at the entrance to the used-car lot. An employee at O-K confirms that the dealer owns the restaurant. The employee tells us that Annabelle's isn't open yet, but should debut within a week or two.
More on this as we learn it, for sure.
