St. Louis' Most Overrated Burger: The Finals

Go to Bogart's next time.

Their burgers are decent (not quite sure I like the bun because it falls apart easily and lacks "substance), but the french fries are UNDERCOOKED. If they'd cook them 2 minutes more, they'd be crispy.  As served currently, they're 'flacid'....and we all know that flacid ain't good.

How certain are you that you're not Ron Swanson?

Who really cares about the most overrated burger? If you get a bad burger you've only lost $5.00 - $8.00. Besides, how bad can a burger be?  How about the most overrated barbecue? You get a bad plate of barbecue and you're out $15.00!! My girlfriend & I are in town for our kids retreat. We all ate @ Pappy's. The chicken was dry, the ribs we're tough and the sides tasted like they were straight our of the can. I was out $42.00!! Can't figure out all the excitement over this place. One more thing I forgot to mention, we received the recommendation through RFT!!!

I'm shocked you'd consider a chain to put in this, I'm even more shocked that The Royale wasn't included. They have the most mediocre over-hyped burger ever served by mediocre boring hipsters.

O's is the best burger hands down, and who gives a flying fuck about five guys?

Ha! How funny that you'd have O'Connell's burger listed as one of the most over-rated in town. I've eaten a lot of burgers at a lot of places and for me, O'Connell's offering is exactly what i want in a burger: ground beef, cooked the way I want it with minimal spices in the ground beef on a substantial bun. Serve it with sliced onion and that's really all that's necessary. I guess that's why they make shirts in different colors and beer in different styles, eh?
