Grilling University: Chicken and Pork 101 @ Kitchen Conservatory
This hands-on class will create dishes together like grilled chicken under a brick with cherry-beer barbecue sauce, blackberry grlled pork tenderloin and Asian-style Cornish hens. $60 per person. Register online at the Kitchen Conservatory Web site. 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Outdoor Film Series @ St. Louis Art Museum

Beerfest @ 2nd Shift Brewing; New Haven, MO
Sip on beers from twenty-three different breweries at this outdoor fest. Tickets are $25 in advance through Brown Paper Tickets and $30 the day of the event. 12 to 4 p.m.

Feast Your Eyes @ Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis
Chef Ivy Magruder of Vin de Set prepares an art-inspired tasting using locally sourced produce from EarthDance Farms to coincide a tour of current art exhibitions. $5. 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

Sunday (July 8):

14th Annual World Largest Catsup Bottle Festival @ American Legion Post 365; Collinsville, IL
Hot dog eating contests, ketchup tastings, food vendors, craft booths, pony rides and live music abound during this annual party. Admission is free. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Cafe Flora brunch @ Missouri Botanical Garden
Enjoy a la carte brunch items at the Spink Pavillion, with a view of the reflecting pools. Call 314-577-0200 for reservations. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Trailnet Day at the Ballpark @ Busch Stadium
Snack on a hot dog and sip on soda while seeing the Cardinals go up against the Miami Marlins. $25, includes aforementioned snacks. Call 314-436-1324 ext. 103 for a ticket. 1:15 p.m.

Prix Fixe Meal @ Duff's
