Tidbits: Galliano to Pop Up Again, KimCheese Opens
Catching up on some news from last week while I was out of town...
Jennifer Silverberg Josh Galliano
- Today is the day for Josh Galliano's pop-up restaurant, All Star Fried Chicken & Fish. Service begins at 5 p.m. at Half & Half (8135 Maryland Avenue, Clayton; 314-725-0719) and continues until 10 p.m. or the food runs out. (Bet on the latter.)

Sauce reports that Galliano will hold a second pop-up restaurant on Monday, September 17, at Pint-Size Bakery (3825 Watson Road; 314-277-0882).
This pop-up will feature gumbo. It will be open for lunch only, and it will also be take-out only. (Pint-Size, if you haven't been yet, isn't a sit-down restaurant.)
- KimCheese is now open at 13435 Olive Boulevard in Creve Coeur, as Joe Bonwich of the Post-Dispatch reports. The restaurant serves Korean-fusion fast food (Korean barbecue tacos and the like). Its current hours are 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Call 314-485-1408 for more information.
