Drive-Thru Sushi Comes to Brentwood
A colleague noticed yesterday that the drive-thru hut at 8950 Manchester Road in Brentwood, which was the original home of Famous Szechuan Pavilion (8615 Olive Boulevard, Olivette; 314-685-0888), has new signage up advertising "To Go Sushi."

Turns out that's not just what the new venture offers. That's its name: To Go Sushi.
It sells sushi, you know, to go.
The handwritten menu at the entrance to the drive-thru lane offers familiar sushi rolls --California, spicy tuna and so forth -- as well as a combo of nigiri sushi, the particular fish unlisted.
To Go Sushi is open 9 a.m.-7 p.m. every day but Sunday.
If you're keeping track at home, this means that the St. Louis area is now home to both drive-thru sushi and conveyor-belt sushi.
