Tidbits: Galliano's Gumbo Pops Up Today, Brazilian Steakhouse in Clayton
- A reminder (as if you needed it): In mere minutes, Josh Galliano will open his second one-day-only pop-up restaurant. Today's pop-up features several different kinds of gumbo and is located at Pint Size Bakery & Coffee (3825 Watson Road; 314-277-0882). Service begins at 10:30 a.m. and continues through lunch.

Important note: This pop-up restaurant is take-out only. If you've never visited Pint Size Bakery, the bakery is awesome for many, many reasons; ample or, really, any seating, however, isn't one of them.
- Luciano's Trattoria (172 Carondelet Plaza, Clayton; 314-863-9969) has been closed since a water pipe burst inside the restaurant in January of this year. Now, George Mahe of St. Louis Magazine reports that a Brazilian steakhouse called Brazikat Brazilian Steak & Seafood House will open in the space. Per Mahe, owner Sam Barakat owns a similar concept in Valparaiso, Indiana.
