Boodles BBQ (10024 Gravois Road, south St. Louis County; 314-631-0000) has closed after just over one year in business.

Jonathan Seitz, a co-founder of the Bandana's Bar-B-Q chain, and partner Chris Markos opened Boodles in a shuttered Wendy's in October of last year.
Affton Patch reports that the restaurant closed Tuesday, with a sign on the door announcing the closure as "permanent" The phone number remains connected but wasn't answered this morning.
I reviewed Boodles in January of this year. I liked the ribs and the biscuits a lot -- and I loved the smoked turkey.
