Catch dinner and a show with a spooky murder mystery based on nursery rhymes. The dinner menu includes appetizers of crab rangoon and toasted ravioli as well as entree options such as an 8-ounce New York strip and chicken parmesan, all washed down with two glasses of white wine, coffee or iced tea. $52.95 per person. KDHX Brunch Benefit @ Black Bear Bakery
Enjoy a brunch of fresh baked bread and a variety of vegetarian-friendly offerings over live music by Wack-A-Doo. Twenty-five percent of every brunch purchase goes to support KDHX. $10 or $12 with a bottomless cup of coffee. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Cabin Fever @ Schlafly Bottleworks
Grab a commemorative tasting glass and eighteen two-ounce samples of Schlafly Beers including the likes of India Brown Ale, Raspberry Coffee Stout and Tasmanian IPA. "Bonus beers" aged in barrels from Corsair Artisan Distillery to round out the experience. Tickets cost $25 in advance at Schlafly Bottleworks and Tap Room locations, or get them for $30 at the door. LaSalle Park Music Festival @ 4 Hands Brewing Company
4 Hands Brewery introduces two special release beers to celebrate its one year anniversary. Sip on "home" (a double red ale), and "no place like home" (home aged in cabernet wine barrels) while checking out twenty local music acts across three stages. Tickets cost $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Doors at noon.
