First Look: Chubbies Offers Burgers, Wings and Frozen Custard to Make You Nice and Pudgy [Photos]

At Chubbies, the staff will butter your buns -- it's the restaurant's motto. The meat, so to speak, of the menu includes single and double (half-pound) burger options like the signature Chubbie Burger ($3.95; $6.50) topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato and Chubbie sauce. Grilled chicken and veggie versions make up the rest of the burger section, followed by Philly cheese-style sandwiches, all beef hot dogs, chicken wings and sides such as crinkle fries smothered in quintessential stadium-style nacho cheese.

With low price points to cater to the area college crowd, anyone can walk in and get a filling meal for under ten bucks, complete with creamy vanilla frozen custard topped with a choice of cookie or candy bits for dessert. Those old enough to drink can select from a small cooler of bottled beers. And for the brave and the bold, a one-pound "heart stopper" burger "with almost everything" goes for $14.95.

Chubbies hours are Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight and Sunday from noon to 9 p.m.
