Local Harvest Cafe Chef Hillary Birtley Is Missing [Updated: Found and OK]
Update: (Monday, February 25, 10:15 a.m.) Just heard back from Clara Moore that Birtley has been located and is "safe and sound".
Hillary Birtley, the head chef at the original Tower Grove South location of Local Harvest Cafe & Catering (3137 Morgan Ford Road; 314-772-8815) is missing. She was last seen at Mangia Italiano (3145 South Grand Boulevard; 314-664-8585) at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

When Gut Check called Local Harvest this morning, we spoke with former executive chef Clara Moore. She told us that, as she understands it, "No one saw [Birtley] leave [Mangia], and they don't know who she was hanging out with."
Birtley was driving a silver Chevrolet Cobalt with Missouri license plates SE3 L7W.
Birtley's colleagues and friends have filed a missing person report with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. Anyone with information about Birtley's whereabouts should contact the police.
