Pita Pit Opening in the Delmar Loop
The fast-casual chain Pita Pit will open a second St. Louis location at 6120 Delmar Boulevard, which is in the same east Delmar Loop strip as Tavolo V (6118 Delmar Boulevard; 314-721-4333).
No word on an opening date as of yet, but the Loop location does have a bare-bones page on the official Pita Pit web site.

A trusted Gut Check operative tipped me off to the news this morning, but a Google search reveals that University City Patch reported the news last month.
The first St. Louis Pita Pit (200 North Ninth Street; 314-436-1840) opened in October 2011. When Gut Check called the downtown Pita Pit this morning, an employee confirmed that the franchise operator of that location will not be the owner of the Delmar spot.
