Smitten Kitchen Book Tour @ Left Bank Books
Deb Perelman of Smitten Kitchen fame discusses and signs copies of her book, available for purchase at the store. Read more about in this Q&A with Perelman, complete with book giveaway. Admission is free. 7 p.m.
St. Patrick's Irish Party @ Schlafly Tap Room
This benefit party for St. Patrick Center features music, plenty of appetizers, Schlafly Beer and Jameson speciality drinks. Tickets cost $35 and can be purchased via the St. Patrick Center website. 7 to 11 p.m.

Feast Your Eyes @ Contemporary Art Museum
Chef Michael Miller of Dressel's Public House brings art-inspired pub fare to CAM. The tasting is followed by a staff-led tour of the exhibition. $10. Register for the event through the CAM website. 12 p.m.
Wine and Food Festival @ Eckert's Country Store and Farms
Sample a variety of food, watch cooking demos and peruse more than 200 wine labels. For $15, gain access to samples of thirty wines and craft beers in a special tasting room. Saturday, March 2, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, March 3, from 12 to 5 p.m.
Nursery Crimes @ Bissell Mansion Restaurant and Dinner Theatre
Catch dinner and a show with a spooky murder mystery based on nursery rhymes. The dinner menu includes appetizers of crab rangoon and toasted ravioli as well as entree options such as an 8-ounce New York strip and chicken parmesan, all washed down with two glasses of white wine, coffee or iced tea. $52.95 per person. Lupulin Carnival @ 4 Hands Brewing Company

Wine Tasting @ The Wine and Cheese Place - Creve Couer location
Sample merlots, malbecs, pinot noirs, chardonnays and much more during this open house tasting. Admission is free. 4 to 7 p.m.

Irish Brunch @ Bixby's
Select from traditional Irish brunch items every Sunday in March except for Easter Sunday. Dishes cost between $13.50 to $24.75. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Hunger For More @ Participating South City restaurants
From now through the end of Lent, participating South City restaurants donate a percentage of their sales to Isaiah 58 Ministries' Hunger For More program, which has initiatives to engage the community on issues of hunger and poverty - just mention the program while ordering. Participating restaurants include Mangia Italiano, City Diner, The King and I, Cafe Natasha's, MoKabe's and Cini.
