Tidbits: Oceano Bistro Changes Ownership; J. Greene's Pub, Mary Ann's Tea Shop to Open

Catching up on some news from the past couple of weeks...

- Paul Pierron, who founded Oceano Bistro (44 North Brentwood Boulevard, Clayton; 314-721-9400) six years ago, has sold his interest in the original restaurant and its second location in Chesterfield (16125 Chesterfield Parkway West, Chesterfield; 636-536-9404) to ownership group BSH, as first reported in the Post-Dispatch. Gut Check was unable to reach Pierron for further comment. According to the Post-Dispatch, the new ownership group already held a stake in Oceano.

- Sauce notes that a British-style tea shop called Mary Ann's Tea Shop is set to open at 4732 McPherson Avenue in the Central West End.
