Chef Jean-Pierre Augé prepares a tasty French lunch of pike quenelles with curry sauce, sauté of lamb with spring vegetables on French lentils, and orange Curaçao mousse with strawberries in a meringue nest Monte Carlo in this demonstration class. $45 per person. Mussels & Scallops Festival @ Broadway Oyster Bar
BOB reopens after kitchen renovations with a special fest featuring an a la carte menu that includes items like mussels Thai curry, blackened scallops over lobster risotto and more.

Winter Farmers Market @ Schlafly Bottleworks
It's not quite farmers market season yet, so get the best of current homegrown and artisan offerings indoors while you can. The Bottleworks bar serves a brunch menu from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. for hungry shoppers. Admission is free. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Richard Blais Book Signing @ The Restaurant at the Cheshire
