Overview: If you're jonesing for retro decor with your next vegetarian meal, then look no further than the Moonrise Hotel's Eclipse Restaurant. Both the restaurant and hotel's motto is to blend the old with the new, a.k.a. pairing a 1950's astronaut theme with new American cuisine. The restaurant also boasts two rooftop bars -- the first is the Rooftop Terrace Bar and the second is a recent addition, the New Moon Room -- where their late night menu is served from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. Yes friends, their late night menu does include pancakes. All menus also include vegan options, just ask your waiter for more details.

Highlights: Eclipse's chef's quiche ($9) varies daily, but is always vegetarian. On our visit, our baked-to-perfection quiche was made with Gruyere, spinach and bell peppers, and served with a side salad. The restaurant's quiche is only available during lunch, which is served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
House-made fettucini at Eclipse Restaurant | Tara Mahadevan
Eclipse's housemade fettuccine ($12) is a new addition to the menu, and will be premiering on their spring dinner menu on March 20. The restaurant's vegetarian version is made with spinach, mushrooms, red bell peppers and almond pesto. The dinner menu side items, at $5 a piece, are all 100 percent vegetarian.
Eclipse's new dinner menu will also debut a vegan stuffed pepper ($12) filled with red beans, vegan cheese, jalapenos, poblano peppers and onions, and served with brown rice.
