UPDATED: Guess Where I'm Eating Eggs Benedict and Win Ice Cream for Two at the Fountain on Locust

Eggs benedict with avocado and chorizo and breakfast potatoes. | Nancy Stiles

It took us a few days to recover from the food-coma-inducing extravaganza that was Iron Fork, but by Saturday, we were ready for one of our favorite weekend activities: brunch! We had an interesting take on the traditional eggs benedict. Instead of ham and hollandaise, the poached eggs rested on a bed of chunky avocado and chorizo. Be the first to correctly guess where we ate it, and we'll give you some free grub.

UPDATE:Commenter Cindy got it right -- we were at Half & Half (8135 Maryland Avenue, Clayton; 314-725-0719).

Lucas Park Grill serves up some nice Eggs Bennies too. Used to eat them there all the time with Rift F.
