The Best Food at St. Louis Earth Day

The St. Louis Earth Day Festival celebrates sustainable products and services available in the St. Louis area -- including food. It's apparently the second-largest Earth Day celebration in the country. The festival covers a huge area of Forest Park (specifically, the Muny grounds), and it can be a little confusing. As always, we're here to help you navigate the culinary waters. Check out our can't-miss food picks.

Hot Aztec: Cochinita pibil, barbacoa beef, veggie and grilled chicken tacos, chips and guacamole, Mexican street corn and Jarrito soda

Onesto Pizza & Trattoria: Veggie stromboli and black bean hummus

Pi Pizzeria: Vegetarian and non-vegetarian nine inch deep-dish pizzas

Urban Eats Cafe: Barbecue pork bao, Mediterranean vegan rice bowl, chicken mozzarella dog with Asian slaw, "Rum Bunny" cocktail with fresh juiced carrots and ginger plus rum leaf green tea with jasmine flower

Whisk: A Sustainable Bake Shop: Cupcakes, cookies, muffins, pop tartlets, brownies and ice pops

Tivanov Catering: Grilled chicken, lamb, beef and grilled eggplant with bell peppers and feta gyros, Greek salad, chocolate baklava and strawberry lemonade

Lulu's Local Eatery: Sweet potato falafel, sweet potato black bean burger, portobello gyro, quinoa wrap, buffalo cauliflower bites, avocado boat, buffalo hummus, kale salad and artisan lavender lemonade

The Dam: Pretzel bites with homemade dipping sauces, homemade chili, antibiotic and hormone-free hamburgers, veggie burgers and dogs, Amsterdam crunch brownie, seasonal water, Excel root beer and Ski sodas

Atomic Cowboy: Nachos, burrito wraps, margaritas, mojitos and infused vodka cocktails

Bayou Seasoning and Catering: Local and organic vegetarian jambalaya, organic chicken jambalaya, organic bourbon chicken on a stick, Missouri beef po' boy, red beans and rice and peach tea
