The Best Food Events in St. Louis This Weekend: June 20 to 22

Saturday (June 21)

Fiesta in Florissant @ Knights of Columbus Park

The Greater St. Louis Hispanic Festival isn't until the fall, but you can enjoy its sister festival this weekend. There will be authentic food and drinks from South America and Mexico including tamales, tacos and empanadas, plus folk dancers from Venezuela, Guatemala, Colombia and Mexico. There are also kids' activities, including piñatas, a petting zoo, pony rides, inflatables and more. New to the Fiesta are the Miss Chiquita Bonita Pageant and the Hispanic Heritage Costume Fashion Show. Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. You find more information here. Admission and parking are free, but all funds raised will go toward college scholarships and underprivileged children.

Flicks and Foodies @ the Gateway Arch

Lay back and enjoy the summer evening under the Arch, complete with dinner and a movie. There will be live music and food trucks starting at 7 p.m., and at sunset, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid will begin. From 7 to 10 p.m. Admission is free. You can find parking information here.

Wildwood Farmers' Market @ Wildwood Town Center Plaza

Can't make it down to Tower Grove? No problem -- Wildwood has a famers' market, too. Find fresh, local food from vendors like Cadet Creek Farms, Two Men and a Garden, Sunny Creek Farm and more. The Buckhannon Brothers will also be providing live music tomorrow. From 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Sunday (June 22)

Hullabaluau @ Sandrina's

A luau that helps kitties find homes? We're in. This event benefits Tenth Life Cats, Even Chance and St. Jude's, and there will be lots of cute felines to play with and adopt. It's a pig roast, but you can also get barbecue and vegetarian fare. There's also a dunk tank and a burlesque show. From 3 to 9 p.m. Admission is free.
