...Sugar Creek Winery (125 Boone Country Lane, Defiance; 636-987-2400). Oddly enough, our biggest write-in, with dozens of entries, wasn't even mentioned when we asked for nominations: Peaceful Bend Winery (1942 State Highway T, Steelville; 573-775-3000). Here's the full report:
