The Decemberists: A vision in tweed.
Welcome to This Just In, where we collect the latest concert announcements in one easy-to-read post.

It'll be Springtime for Hipsters when the Decemberists bring their hyper-literate rock to the Pageant (6161 Delmar Boulevard; 314-726-6161) on Saturday, April 14. Opening will be My Brightest Diamond, the drama-heavy project of Sufjan Stevens' pal Shara Worden. Also playing at the Pageant are local heroes Son Volt (Saturday, April 21). The band is touring in support of The Search, to be released on Tuesday, March 6.

Punk-folk band Against Me! will play at the Creepy Crawl (3524 Washington Boulevard; 314-531-3888) on Monday, March 12 along with the Riverboat Gamblers. Electro-poppers Men, Women & Children (which features local boy Nick Concellor) will play at the Creepy Crawl on Wednesday, April 11; also returning are blog darlings Tapes 'N Tapes on Tuesday, April 17. Ska survivors the Toasters will make their bi-annual trip to St. Louis on Sunday, May 20.

The kids at the Gargoyle (1 Brookings Drive, on the campus of Washington University) have done it again: Ratatat and 120 Days team up for a rare electro-oriented double bill on March 20. (Annie is totally stoked. Just ask her.)

Finally, everyone's flaxen-haired, oldies-devouring Scotsman Rod Stewart comes to the Scottrade Center (Clark Avenue and Fourteenth Street; 314-241-1888) on Tuesday, May 1. He's calling this jaunt "The Arena Tour" which makes the whole thing seem a bit more heinous.
