• you forget that vanderslice has an opening act at 9. and electric six's show starts at 7. hmmm.

• CYHSY probably booked these gigs thinking the new album was going to be bigger than it was.

• It seems to me like it could be a pretty easy jaunt around Grand Center: M Ward will play from 7:30-8:15 at the FOx, then truck down the street to SLU for Vanderslice at 9 and be back at the Creepy Crawl for the Electric 6 by 11. A rock & roll pub crawl, if you will.

• clap your hands say meh (ooh burn) needs an all-ages place to play; and creepy is booked that night already with Electric Six. to further stir the pot of show-going. i am already planning to hit as many of these shows as i can, an experiment in show-hopping, per se. however, i am TEAM VANDERSLICE.

• say what you want about the celts/fur coat but i once wore a dennis rodman lakers jersey under a faux fur coat to a genetics lecture at mizzou and nothing felt more natural.

• Am I the only one that thinks The Pageant is too big for CYHSY in St. Louis? I love me some Clap Your Hands, but I have a hard time believing they'll fill the place up. and the fact that M Ward and John Venderslice are all playing the night at different venues.
