*In high school marching band, we played songs by Chicago, Kansas, Styx and from various Disney movies. This troupe, however, is busting out Nine Inch Nails. That's some nerd-cred. (Yourstandardlife)

*Mike Appelstein went to the Mitch Easter show Saturday night and did a little review. (Yes, Don Dixon -- who co-produced early R.E.M. stuff with Mitch -- was there; no, I didn't geek out (outwardly). Yes, Mitch was amazing on guitar -- and even re-learned a Let's Active song just for me, which makes him an awesome person too. I nearly shed a tear.)
