St. Louis Weekend Round-up, January 11 to 13

• bad folk = the shit. agreed. i haven't seen them in a minute (hi tim, sorry). but that's a priority.

• Man, saw the last couple Bad Folk songs last night. Jeebus, it was awesome! I walked in during one of their drony peddle steel freakout songs and I felt like I was in a damn David Lynch movie or something. Then I was all gonna request "The Band Played Waltzing Matilda" cuz their version of that song about makes my heart stop it's so fucking beautiful, then I was all in my head "It's 2:00, why would they wanna bring the room down like that?" so I didn't request it, then they totally played it and it brought the room down in the coolest possible way ever. Man, Bad Folk=the most under-rated band in St Louis. That is all, Matt ps-oops, not all. I mentioned to Tim the David Lynch thing & he said a bunch of people have said that to him, but to his knowledge he's never seen a David Lynch movie, so he doesn't know whether he agrees or not.
