Apparently I missed the MOST EPIC SHOW OF THE YEAR by having to stay in and work on a big deadline. I don't want to talk about it.

Here's some video. When are they coming back to town? Mucca Pazza, you listening?

I feel your pain Annie. The buzz on this thing was white hot. But just like you, I had major projects approaching deadline this last weekend. Albeit, mine were more school related. Still sounds like a good time was had by all. I can tell this video is a creul tease
damn, double damn! i new the buzz was hot around this act for all the right reasons. and i, like you Annie, could not venture out this weekend to work on deadline projects (albeit of a more school variety). i think the video sounds like fun actually
I was helping Kopper with "The Wayback Machine" one night (maybe 3 years ago) and some guy called in asking for free Robin Trower tickets, because I guess he was playing in town that weekend. After I stopped laughing, I asked, "No, seriously dude, what decade do you think this is!?!"
Heh. My friend is in this band (he wasn't at this performance, though).
Another reason why Chicago is better than St. Louis.... <i>I KID!</i> But seriously - While I missed this show (and I was even IN town), I've experienced the awesomeness that is Mucca Pazza plenty. It really is something you must experience in person. That said, I urge everyone to make the measly 5 hour road trip to Chicago to see 'em on their home turf sometime.
I knew I was going to regret missing that one.
That was truly an EPIC show....they were jumping up and playing on the bar, marching through the crowd, letting my silly girlfriends freak dance on them, etc......it was AWESOME!
Anyone not present is truly pitiable, especially those like Brian Kelly, unable to grasp the truly inimitable nature of the entire scope of the thing. Too much awesomeness for one night at the Bluebird. If no show in 2008 lives up to this one, I'll remain unsurprised.
@Brian Kelly Had to be there dude, had to be there. Everyone in the room was completely floored. This is the kind of stuff that can't be captured on video. Simply amazing.
Epic? are you serious, this sounds terrible. sounds like a high school band. Robin Trower @ the pageant was where it was at you fools.
