St. Louis Concert News: Wilco Finally Playing, Van Halen Reschedules, Sold Out Shows and New Additions

Back in St. Louis:

*Wilco is finally making it back to town. (Perhaps the band listened to us. Kidding.) Shows are Thursday, May 15, and Friday, May 16. For those scoring along at home, that's the two nights directly after Radiohead. Tickets go on sale via the Internet pre-sale on Thursday at 11 a.m.; the official on-sale is Friday at 5 p.m. All tickets are $29, which is totally reasonable.

*That Van Halen show has been rescheduled. Again. Saturday, April 26, is the new date. Says the Scottrade Center: "Tickets for the band’s previously scheduled dates will be honored. Refunds are also available at the point of purchase."

*Feist, the Swell Season and Panic at the Disco are all sold out at the Pageant.

*Notable new shows added lately besides the ones above include metal gods At the Gates (Pop's, July 15), hair metal gods Poison (Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre, August 17), area gods Chicago/Doobie Brothers (Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre, June 22), Martin Sexton (Pageant, April 26), Robert Earl Keen/North Mississippi Allstars (Pageant, May 24), Cali-punk legends T.S.O.L. (2 Cents Plain, May 5), NIghtmare of You (2 Cents Plain, July 11), Sea Wolf (Bluebird, May 22), Dark Meat/Quiet Hooves (May 21, Bluebird), Sean Kelly of the Samples/Birdie Busch (Bluebird, May 10).
