Squeeze and Aimee Mann at the Pageant, Tuesday, September 2

• Bummer about Squeeze. But one cannot expect to see Jools Holland leave the success he has in the UK presently! I was lucky to see him and his band at Royal Albert Hall along with Mark Almond from Soft Cell and Suggs from Madness. What a dream come true!

• thanks for the scoop, annie! i've been crossing my fingas hoping this sucker would get booked in town. what wonderful news. :) combine this info with the announcement of the new Sloan record coming out soon (june 10) and you have just about the coolest popnerd's day ever.

• Wasn't Squeeze on an episode of "Bands Reunited"? And the reunion failed?

• What a great double bill. Sad that the rest of the classic squeeze band, Gilson, Jools, Keith et al aren't back in the fold as well. Ah well, can't have everything!
