I'm going to be updating, changing and adding to/subtracting from on a regular basis. I'll note every time I update it -- and please, feel free to comment away with things I've missed, new additions, etc.

Two shows of interest in October: Oct. 6th Strawfoot will be playing at the Downtown branch of the Library, to help raise money for KDHX and the St. Louis Library... Then the big one... Friday, Oct. 31st...Halloween night...the Annual Halloween Hootenanny, and it's a real humdinger... The Monads Alley Cat Burlesque Strawfoot and (finally) returning to St. Louis, Reverend Glasseye... that is all.
I probably shoulda mentioned this here a million years ago when it was first announced, and by this point it probably won't do a whole ton of good to bring it up, and who knows if you post these kindsa shows anyway, but August 9th Lord of the Yum-Yum (Chicago, IL) and Patrick Elkins (Ann Arbor, MI) are playing/puppeteering/barbecuing/partying at the Pancake Productions Garage Lodge.
The Electric Six's website says they are playing with Local H and Golden Dogs at FUBAR on 10/22. Not sure who is headlining.
August 2nd-Off Broadway-That's My Daughter cd release show, with Bang!Bang! & Sex Robots (I posted this above like 2 months ago but it still hasn't been added?) August 5th-CBGB-The Hat Company (Toledo OH 60s bubblegum meets 80s Brit indie) with Syna So Pro & Guitar Mat August 8th-Tap Room-Bunnygrunt with Kickback (Cedar Falls IA) & TOK August 30th-Mangia-Sex Robots/Bunnygrunt split 45 release show ...more to come...
One Lone Car has new and exciting shows coming up; they've been on the road at least 8 weeks of the past 12 weeks..... you should contact them and do a full article on them..... they've made some changes, all for the good! www.onelonecar.com
Right on Susan and John!!! I've followed One Lone Car for quite awhile now and am amazed at the places these guys play (BB Kings in NYC, House of Blues in Atlantic City and the Mint in LA just to name a few) and tour with bigger acts (such as the Gin Blossoms and Soul Asylum) yet I very rarely see writeups about them in RFT or STL Sound. Seems kind of dumb to me that St. Louis media wouldn't get more excited about hometown boys doing some really big things. Wake up and get with it St. Louis, you're missing out big time!!
For some reason it seems One Lone Car is constantly over looked in St.Louis. They played a Sold Out show in NYC, yet they can't even get mentioned in local magazines. If I were OLC, I'd move to a much smarter music town that respects hard working talented bands. St.Louis seems to only support generic bands that never break out of St.Louis. I agree with you Susan, however I don't think they will ever get respect in this town.
One Lone Car is opening for OneRepublic on July 26.... can't this be published? OLC is a local act doing very well..... a little support, please!
