Live on the Levee Restaurant/Band Pairings

Like last year, Live on the Levee isn’t just about the music. According to a press release I received, the fest will also feature “The Sauce Café.” What’s that? Well, the email says: “Each Saturday night will offer patrons the chance to enjoy a three-course meal from a different favorite local restaurant. Local restaurants design the limited prix fixe menus especially for The Sauce Café.

The pairings of music and food are sometimes sensible, sometimes head-scratching – and at least in one case, kind of hilarious. See the results after the jump, and feel free to suggest your own band/grub matches for these shows (or anything else coming to town) in the comments.
