I can't say I've given much of a hoot about the VF in a very long time (a show they played at my college in 1998, where the band was surly and disinterested, at best, turned me off), but vocalist Gordon Gano had a great solo record out a few years ago (Hitting the Ground) and this cover is pretty nifty, all lounge-y and such.
