The Helium Tapes Were Robbed

This sucks. Someone went into the Helium Tapes' practice space and bogarted their gear. Via Livejournal and MySpace:

Yeah, that's right! Some lowlifes (lowlives?) came to our rehearsal place last night after practice space and "redistributed" some of our things. They got:

Sunyatta's Fernandes guitar... the "Suncaster" which was a very cool wedding gift. Tim's Laney VC30 all-tube guitar amp Brandon's Moog Little Phatty analog synthesizer & CME uf5 MIDI controller the band's never-even-got-to-use-it PA head... a GIGRAC 600.

If you know your gear and see any of this stuff and the stories you hear about where it came from sound suspicious, do something! Let us know, call the police, etc...

In the meantime, we're still The Helium Tapes and we still make the music that makes you wanna dance!
