Deluxe -- Maplewood's New Venue/Restaurant Opening This Weekend

Speaking of new venues and restaurants: Deluxe, a new venture in Maplewood that's located across the street from the Maya Cafe (and the Focal Point) at 2733 Sutton Boulevard, is set to open this Friday, September 12, for dinner starting at 6 p.m. Diesel Island will be playing the inaugural night, while the Dock Ellis Band is playing at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 13. There's no cover on either night, and the venue doesn't have a website yet -- but it's coming, says owner/GM Suzanne Miller. More info and reporting as I have it!
