Tonight! Man Man and Tim Fite at the Bluebird

• Aw, Sleazy, you so NICE! Thanks to all who came out. It was a great great time & Bearsuit told me that the previous night's show in Chicago & the CBGB show marked a turning point in their tour. Apparently the first half of the tour had been sparsely attended & kinda weak on the fun side, but a hot drunken night in a packed CBGB was just the shot in the arm they needed. Glad Man Man went well, as well. Hooray for everybody that does stuff!

• my phone started blowin' up with mad texts when fite went on. most of them began with "OMG HFS BBQ" or something like that. sad i missed it. i couldn't find the motivation to leave my house to get to bbird in time, but i rolled up to cbgb for some bearsuit. good times, i must admit, but per usual bunnygrunt knocked 'em off the "stage." the show included some hijacking of audience members for sing-a-long timez, including Mr. Moz from Humanoidville, who did his best impersonation of Danzig singing Bunnygrunt's version of Zevon's "carmelita." you follow? probably not but it was amazing. then the show ended with floor writhing and a "sister ray" style freak out. rocked, i was. if there's something more fun than bgrunt at cb, i have yet to find it.

• the show was sold out, from what i hear. so yeah, folks sure went. didn't hear about how it went, though.

• So how was the show? did anyone go?
