UnconfirmedConfirmed: Los Campesinos! and Cut Copy at the Gargoyle in 2009

• i'm really stoked for matt and kim and cut copy! it would be really awesome if it was a friday or saturday, but there will be significantly fewer blatantly drunk people, so its not all bad.

• Looks like Matt & Kim are set to open for Cut Copy. This would be such great news if these shows were at any other venue, and if they weren't scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday nights... Still, great bands, almost makes it worthwhile.

• Why can't a real venue get these bands? Cut Copy will be epic in that basement!

• And the sucky tradition of awesome bands playing the Gargoyle continues. It's bad enough that our state didn't go blue...living here also means a life of weighing the benefit of shows at the Gargoyle--great artists--versus the costs (um, everything else).

• Tickets for Los Campesinos go on sale Friday on Metrotix, so that's about as official as it gets.
