People are already buzzing -- for better or for worse -- about the Gargoyle's 2009 schedule. Let the chatter commence anew below, because the Wash U venue announced even more shows last week. Here's the complete schedule for next year, along with a video of party-starting electro-soul party-starters Ninjasonik, which is probably who I'm most excited to see. Okay, that's kind of a lie -- I also LOL'd for days at the idea that there's a band called Cerebral Ballzy. (I have cerebral palsy -- that explains the walk, for anyone curious -- and I find their name hysterically funny, because I have a dark sense of humor.) They're a totally gritty punk/hardcore band from New York. I'm so there. And I want a T-shirt. Here's the rest of the schedule:
The Virgins 1/30
Los Campesinos! w/ Titus Andronicus 2/4
Delta Spirit 2/15
Mr. Lif 2/27
Cut Copy w/ Matt & Kim 3/17
The Death Set w/ Team Robespierre, Ninjasonik, Totally Michael and Cerebral Ballzy 3/23

Matt & Kim are good. I'm excited about Los Campesinos!
I will be at that Cut Copy show. Saw them in Chicago and it was epic.
Although, I will be sober cause its at the f'n gargoyle. Why can't the bluebird or off broadway book these shows? Or at least the Bililen Club..cause you know, the catholics love to drink.
