Tonight! Scott Weiland, Cold War Kids and Eagles of Death Metal at the Pageant

• I love how everybody rags on Scott Weiland for actually being creative in his music, which is basically what everybody's doing because he's not up there singing 8 tracks from core and heavy rock tunes alone every single night. He's an amazing musician and should get a fair chance like anyone making music would want. I have been a huge fan Scott's during every venture of his career and maybe it's because unlike most of the people criticizing him I can listen to music with an open mind. Plus it's obvious the quality on the audio posted here is very poor due to no fault of the artists. ROCK ON SCOTT!

• Who does Scott Weiland think he is, Neil Young? It's hard enough to follow the energy of Cold War Kids and EODM, but he came out with 3 mediocre ballads and no stage production, then did a crappy cover. It was as if he was deliberately trying to piss the crowd off. The most boring start to a set I've seen in years.

• Wow. What a trainwreck. Scott Weiland actually made the Cold War Kids and EODM sign an agreement stating that they could not look him in the eye or get withing 50 feet of him. He should have made them sign an agreement not to blow hiss ass offstage. What a douchebag.

• I am going to chicago to see the same concert tomorrow night.....I just hope to see him coherent...

• oh, pardon me. let me recast that: "I like Eagles of Death Metal because its combination of debauched metal, Cali-desert classic rock and stoner riffs is ridiculous fun. While Jesse "Boots Electric" Hughes' leering playboy shtick might be off-putting, it's hard to tell if he's being serious, joking or ironic -- and that's all part of the charm."

• "I heart Eagles of Death Metal". Really? Are you a fourteen year old girl? You sound really professional.
