• borland was in the band From First to Last for awhile -- and they were super underrated in the whole electro-prog-screamo genre. saw them at Warped one year, it was great. he also had his own electro-metal project, Black Light Burns, that played at Pop's in the last few years. he was also reportedly invited to join NIN, but wanted to do his own stuff instead. he's generally respected as being a talented guitar player in the industry.

• why is Wes Borland so awesome? has he done something, beside quit limp bizkit, that was cool?

• not that i ever paid attention to them (cough), but i definitely remember reading in a Hit Parader or some such thing a quote by Wes Borland where he was asked, "where do you expect to be in five years?" His answer "Not in Limp Bizkit." This was at the height of there turdom/stardom. From then on I became a Wes fan, if his music was, imo, still boring alterna rock/metal
