Rock Math: U2, No Line on the Horizon

• Oh man, I knew the Bono Defense Squad would show up! Now all this thread needs is for somebody to call Radiohead "over-rated" and we're all set for lulz.

• Cheap politics? Silly Ryan. W hizzownself declared the 2006 $400 million dollar African aid package would never have happened without Bono. Why don't you put your political power to use, Ryan? You could have a So Many Dynamooos car wash for Darfur!

• Ryan's petty analysis is as tired as he purports "No Line" to be. "Receding hairlines", "old guys"...how crazy. What next...B.B. King "too fat?" Call the record shitty: no problem. But even you will be old one day, my friend (at least that's what I've heard happens).

• I love this feature more and more each week.

• The only thing I've heard off of it sounded like "Wild WIld West" by Escape Club.

• I think the main problem is Bono not making any fucking sense for most of the album. Also, Get On Your Boots is fairly terrible, and herky-jerky in the worst way.

• is it really that bad? I haven't heard it... to be fair about the evaluation, do you like U2's older stuff? If the answer is yes, then what's the stark difference between old and new...? did they lose their edge? (no pun intended)
